Work disruption and quality of life changes are major settlement components. Permanent disability increases estimates by 3x, while emotional distress, lost earning capacity, and other impacts add substantial dollar amounts.
Legal Factors & Adjustments
State laws vary dramatically. Some states cap damages, while others favor plaintiffs. Fault determination and medical expenses also significantly impact the final calculation. All these factors are applied in the final stage.
